Paul Delvaux (French: [dɛlvo] 23 September 1897 – 20 July 1994) was a Belgian painter famous for his paintings of female nudes. He was influenced by the works of Giorgio de Chirico, and was also briefly associated with surrealism. Delvaux was born in Wanze in the Belgian province of Liège, the son of a lawyer.
