Moses Smashing the Tables of the Law is an oil on canvas painting by the dutch painter and etcher Rembrandt van Rijn. It was painted in 1659 and uncharacteristically large in scale. It was probably painted for Amsterdam's massive, magnificent city hall - part palace of justice, prison, and bank. This painting (169 x 137 cm) is currently housed in The Staatliche Museen, Berlin.

This artwork is in the public domain.
