Alexej Kraščenič is a Slovak artist born in Bratislava in 1953. He is a painter, graphic artist and teacher. In 1996, he founded the informal association A1 with his friends Ján Hlavatý and Alexej Kraščenič, with whom he exhibits at home and abroad. His work is mainly composed of paintings, drawings and prints. One of his most famous works is 'Raven of peace' (2008).
