Amer Deeb Mohammad Khalil, known as Amer Khalil, is a retired Jordanian football player, of Palestinian origin. He was born on February 4, 1980, in Amman, Jordan. Amer is married and has two children, a son named Qusai and a daughter named Bayan. He is referred to as 'Deeb of Jordan' and 'Deeb of Al-Wehdat' by many fans of Jordan and Al-Wehdat. Amer has played for several clubs, including Al-Wehdat, Al-Faisaly, Al-Jabalain, and Al-Tai FC. He has also played for the Jordanian national team and participated in several international tournaments, including the Asian Cup in 2004 and 2011, the Arab Nations Cup in 2002, and the WAFF Championship in 2002, 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2010. Amer has scored several international goals for Jordan and has earned over 100 caps for his country. He is considered one of the greatest Jordanian footballers of all time.
