Biography:

Xiong Tingbi, also known as Hsiung T’ing-pi, was a Ming general who built a career as a military leader after passing the highest level of imperial examinations. He rose to take charge of military affairs in the northeast, where he was tasked with defending the Great Wall. Xiong Tingbi was born in China and died in 1625 at the age of 57 (sui).
