Biography:

Joseph Feurstein, also known as Joseph Feuerstein, was an Austrian artist born in Bregenzerwald in 1733 and died in 1809. He was an ébéniste who worked in Paris, France, on the rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine. He collaborated with other artists and passed his master's examination on April 29, 1767. Feurstein is known for his beautiful Louis XVI period commode, which was made in the late 18th century, around 1780-1790. The commode is stamped with his name and is currently in good condition.
