Małgorzata Markiewicz is a Polish visual artist born in Krakow, Poland in 1979. She creates objects, photographs, and films. Between 1999 and 2004, she studied at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, graduating with honors. Her artistic practice examines contemporary gender dynamics in the context of home environments and society, often using fabric as a medium to investigate the symbolism and significance of clothing. She has participated in various projects and exhibitions, including public sculptures and collaborations with galleries such as l'étrangère in London.
