Biography:

Maks Roosma was an Estonian glass artist. He is considered the first professional glass artist in Estonia and one of the founders of Estonian glass art. Roosma studied at the Haida (Novy Bor) Applied Arts School in Czechoslovakia and later at the State Art and Design College in Tallinn, where he graduated with a degree in glass engraving. He worked as a teacher at the Estonian Academy of Arts and was also the head of the glass department. Roosma's work includes various types of glass art, such as vases, bowls, and sculptures. His style is characterized by intricate designs and patterns, often inspired by mythology and folklore.
