Biography:

Susanne Kühn is a contemporary German painter, born in Leipzig in 1969. She studied painting and graphic art at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig (HGB) in Germany from 1990 to 1995. Between 1995 and 1998, she lived and worked in New York, completing postgraduate studies at the School of Visual Arts and Hunter College. In 1998, she moved to Boston, and in 2001-02, she was awarded a Radcliffe Fellowship from the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, Harvard University. Since 2002, Susanne Kühn has been living and working in Freiburg i. B. and Nürnberg, Germany. She is a professor for painting at the Academy of Fine Arts, Nuremberg since 2015.
