Nakamura Shuko, also known as Nakamura Shūkō, was a Japanese artist who created senso-e (war prints) for both the Sino-Japanese War (1894-95) and the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905). He is known for his glorious depictions of the Japanese army defeating the Chinese army troops in scenes of warfare. He was active from around 1894 to 1904. Not much is known about his early life, education or personal life.
