His artistic journey began with formative experiences at Curso Intensivo de Arte/Educação (CIAE) at Escolinha de Arte do Brasil (EAB) in Rio de Janeiro from 1979 to 1980, laying the groundwork for his subsequent academic pursuits. He earned a full degree in art education from Faculdades Integradas Bennet in Rio de Janeiro, solidifying his commitment to fostering artistic understanding and practice.
