Biography:

Julia Isidrez is a Paraguayan ceramist. She was born on February 16, 1967, in Itá, Paraguay, and learned ceramic art from her mother Juana Marta Rodas. Isidrez's work is characterized by traditional pottery of the countryside with exotic Jesuit and contemporary techniques. She has exhibited her work in Paraguay and abroad, and has received numerous awards for her contributions to the art of ceramics.
