Esta exquisita escultura rococó está firmada por el artista italiano Giovan Battista Nini y data del año 1762. Nini recibió su formación como escultor en la Accademia Clementina en Bolonia, donde tuvo la oportunidad de trabajar estrechamente con los mejores exponentes rococosos locales como Donato Creti y Angelo Gabriello Piò.
