Artistic Style and Themes
As a painter of new figuration, Ronovský was a consistent figuralist, often working on large-scale canvases. He was also drawn to themes of Calvary and piety.
In his later years, he spent time creating in his rural residence in Hajská near Strakonice. Following the death of his mother in 1983, he produced an extensive cycle of paintings titled Maminka. His works are represented in various galleries across the Czech Republic and abroad.
