Penitent Magdalene (également appelé Repentant Madalene) est une huile du 16ème siècle sur toile peinture par le peintre baroque italien Caravaggio. La peinture dépeint une Marie-Madeleine repentante, se prosterna dans la tristesse pénitente, car elle laisse derrière sa vie dissolue, ses piégements abandonnés à ses côtés. Au moment de son achèvement, vers 1594-1595, la peinture n'était pas conventionnelle pour son réalisme contemporain et son départ de l'iconographie traditionnelle de la Madeleine. Il a invité à la fois la critique et la louange, avec la spéculation jusqu'au 21e siècle quant aux intentions de Caravaggio. L'œuvre se trouve dans la galerie Doria Pamphilj à Rome.
