Jean-Claude Dezauche was a French artist born in Paris in 1745 and died in 1824. He was a engraver, publisher and dealer in geographical maps. He took the Jaillot estate that his wife had held since 1749 with her three sisters, as well as the title of Geographer Ordinary of the King, inherited from his father-in-law Father Bernard-Jean-Hyacinthe Jaillot. He is particularly known for his work Critical, Historical and Topographic Research on the City of Paris, published in five volumes at From 1772.
