Domenico Bossi, also known as Johann Dominik Bossi, was an Italian painter born in Trieste in 1767. He was a student of Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo and worked primarily as a miniaturist in Germany, Austria, Sweden, and Russia before settling in Munich, where he became a court painter and founded a collection that included a significant group of Tiepolo drawings. The collection was later sold at auction in Stuttgart and dispersed in 1882.
