William Saunders Crowdy, a British artist, was born in Crediton, England, in 1836. His life is marked by significant events and achievements that have contributed to his legacy as a painter. He was a pioneer in Canadian agricultural science, led the establishment of the Experimental Farm System, and served as its first director until his death in 1914.
