Biografi:

Vojtech Stašík was a Slovak painter, graphic artist and illustrator. He was born on February 10, 1915, in Prešov, Slovakia. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and worked as a freelance artist in Martin, Slovakia. He created portraits of important Slovak personalities, writers and painters for the Matica slovenská, which were later used as postcards. He died on November 2, 1978, in Martin.
