La Torre di Gediminas a Vilnius risale alla prima guerra mondiale. Kazimirowski ha dipinto immagini realistiche: la collina innevata con arbusti emana la freschezza dell'inverno. La bandiera nera, rossa e bianca dell'Impero tedesco vola sopra la torre, e l'angolo basso di vista gli dà una qualità impressionante. Le autorità tedesche sono state le prime a volare una bandiera nazionale sulla torre nel XX secolo, per mostrare quale potere ha governato la città, e la tradizione è stata conservata da allora. Autore del testo Laima Laučkaitė.
