Born in Krakow in 1825, Feliks Szynalewski spent his life deeply rooted in the streets and schools of his home city. By the age of eighteen, he was refining his hand under the guidance of Wojciech Kornyel Stattler. A scholarship allowed him to step beyond the borders of Poland, leading him to the studios of Vienna and through the streets of Munich and Dresden.
