lieved he initially followed in the footsteps of local artists like Lorenzo Costa, absorbing the foundational principles of Ferrarese painting. However, the true trajectory of his artistic development began with his close association with his older brother, Dosso Dossi, a painter already gaining recognition for his unique and imaginative style.
