The Life and Career of Sergio Dangelo Born in Milan, Italy, on 19 April 1932, Sergio Dangelo spent much of his life navigating the creative landscapes of Europe. His formative years were shaped by studies held between Italy, France, and Switzerland. This movement through different borders allowed him to settle for several years in Brussels, a period that brought him into contact with various avant-garde and surrealist circles. Dangelo
’s professional life was defined by a drive to build new artistic communities. He was a founder of the Arte nucleare movement and also acted as a co-founder of the International Movement for an Imaginist Bauhaus.
