The Life and Work of Nancy Haynes
Born in 1947 in Waterbury, Connecticut, Nancy Haynes is an American painter, draftsperson, and educator. Her life and career are split between New York City and Huerfano County, Colorado. As a conceptual artist, her work has been recognized through various prestigious honors, including awards from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in 1995, the National Endowment for the Arts in 1987 and 1990, and the New York Foundation for the Arts in 1987.
