The Artistic Practice of Renée Van Halm

Her work explores how we represent and inhabit architecture, utilizing genres such as still life, landscape, decor, abstraction, and pattern. Van Halm’s imagery draws from a wide range of sources, including early Renaissance paintings, contemporary real-estate ads, interior design publications, and her own photographs and collages.
