Bei dieser Schale handelt es sich um einen weiteren Kunstgegenstand, der Teil der Mustersammlung der deutschen Hersteller für die Pariser Weltausstellung 1878 war. Für die Musterauststellung konnten damals 273 Objekte neu erworben werden. 195 davon sind noch erhalten, darunter diese Schale von André F. Thesmar. Sie zeigt eine neue Art der Emailarbeit mit Schattierung. Dargestellt ist eine Schwalbe, die über dem Meer fliegt und im Schnabel den Schriftzug:
