Gonzalo Gómez de Espinosa was a Spanish military and explorer. He participated in the Magellan expedition as an alguacil mayor (marshal) of the fleet. After the death of Ferdinand Magellan in 1521, he took command of the Trinidad ship until its capture by the Portuguese.
