La decapitatura di Giulio Paolo e la cattura di Claudio Civile. Il corpo decapitato di Giulio Paolo si trova sul pavimento tra alcuni soldati romani, a sinistra il boia tiene la sua ascia. In primo piano, Claudius Civilis è portato via dai soldati. Prima esecuzione in una serie di dodici scene della ribellione Batavier contro i Romani (SK-A-421/432), acquistata dagli Stati Generali nel 1613.
