lacoste's artistic legacy is marked by his simplified forms and vast perspectives, underlined by soft, supple flat tints of color. his work has been influenced by japanese art and the symbolist nabis movement, similar to artists like edvard munch, whose work can be found in girls on the pier (view on WikiOO).
