The Life and Career of Johan Daniël Ebersbach
Johan Daniël Ebersbach was a Dutch painter and lithographer who lived through much of the nineteenth century. Born in Dordrecht, Netherlands, in 1822, he spent his working years focused on the visual arts. His professional activity spanned from 1837 until 1900. During this time, he shared a studio with Johannes Engel Masurel, a connection that placed him within a specific circle of artistic practice in the Netherlands.
His life followed a steady path through the Dutch landscape. After decades of work, he died in Rotterdam on February 26, 1900. His output as a painter and lithographer reflects a long engagement with his craft, maintaining a presence in the art world for over sixty years.
