She was among the founders of the Arts Club of Washington and held charter membership in both the Society of Washington Artists and the Washington Water Color Club. Her work also reached a wider audience through exhibitions at the National Academy of Design , the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the New York Watercolor Club.
In 1893, she traveled to Chicago to exhibit her work at the Palace of Fine Arts during the World's Columbian Exposition. Her skill was recognized through various honors, including the first and second Corcoran prizes at the Washington Water Color Club's exhibitions in 1904 and 1900, respectively.
