Iskander Valiullovich Rafikov was a Russian painter born in Kazan in 1954. He studied at the Kazan Art School and later at the Surikov Art Institute in Moscow. Rafikov was known for his landscapes and still lifes, often featuring the Tatar culture and traditions. He died in 2016.
