She also served on the faculty at the Gunston Hall School and held a position at the Art Students League of Washington, where she had once been a student and later served on the governing board.

She was among the founders of the Arts Club of Washington and held charter membership in both the Society of Washington Artists and the Washington Water Color Club. She remained an active participant in the Washington Water Color Club, appearing in their exhibitions from 1891 until 1921. Her work also reached a wider audience through exhibitions at the National Academy of Design, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the New York Watercolor Club.
In 1893, she traveled to Chicago to exhibit her work at the Palace of Fine Arts during the World's Columbian Exposition. Her skill was recognized through various honors, including the first and second Corcoran prizes at the Washington Water Color Club's exhibitions in 1904 and 1900, respectively. She also received a silver medal at the Appalachian Exposition of 1910. Her legacy is preserved in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Arts Club of Washington.
