The Genesis of a Visionary Born in Rogliano, in the province of Cosenza, Calabria, Giuseppe Gallo’s journey into the heart of contemporary art was deeply rooted in his early environment. As the son of a painter-restorer, he was immersed from childhood in the nuances of color and the delicate care of historical works, an exposure that would later shape his profound connection to materiality and tradition. His academic path led him to mov
e to Rome in 1976, where he enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture. While his studies in architecture provided a structural foundation for his spatial understanding, it was the vibrant, transformative atmosphere of the Roman art scene that ultimately claimed his devotion.
