The Life and Art of Léonide Bourges
Born in Paris, France, Léonide Bourges was a painter who emerged in the mid-nineteenth century. The daughter of an art dealer, she received formal training under several notable masters, including Théodore Frédéric Salmon, Pierre Édouard Frère, and Charles-François Daubigny.
