His formative period was defined by a shattered domesticity, marked by the institutionalization of his mother and an environment steeped in neglect and emotional instability. This era of his life, though characterized by significant personal trauma, also saw the emergence of a brilliant intellect. A graduate of Cornell University with a degree in agricultural economics, Ross possessed a capacity for academic excellence that stood in haunting contrast to the psychological fractures developing within him.The Emergence of the Roadside Strangler
