A Life in Theatre and Drama
Samuel James Arnold was an English dramatist and theatrical manager. Born to the composer Samuel Arnold, he received an artistic education that shaped his career in the London theatre scene. His dramatic works included musical plays such as Auld Robin Gray, Who Pays the Reckoning?, and The Shipwreck. He also contributed to comedies like A Prior Claim and Man and Wife.
