Valved trumpet
Built by Adolphe Sax, the belgium constructor known for inventing the Saxophone, this valve trumpet distinguishes itself from the regular trumpet. The valves were added to increase the agility and to enable the player to play as fast as a violin and a flute. Despite of Adolphe Sax’s efforts this instrument wasn’t able to conquer its space.
