Guy Orlando Rose: A Life in Impressionism Early Life and Education Birth & Family: Guy Orlando Rose was born on March 3, 1867, in San Gabriel, California, the seventh child of Leonard John Rose, a prominent California senator, and Amanda Jones Rose.
