Valentine Dobrée (1894–1974) was a visual artist (oil painting and collage), novelist and poet. Born Gladys May Mabel Brooke-Pechell in Cannanore, India, the daughter of Sir (Augustus) Alexander Brooke-Pechell, colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps, she was educated in England.
