Master L. Cz. was an anonymous German Renaissance printmaker active between approximately 1480 and 1505. His extant body of work consists of twelve engravings, ten of which bear his signature. In his later period, the artist displayed enormous virtuosity with the burin, creating varied effects of texture and integrating monumental subjects into fully realized landscape settings.
