Born in the village of Musmus near Umm El Fahm, Fuad Agbaria carries within his brushstrokes the profound weight of a fragmented landscape. After moving to East Jerusalem at eighteen to attend the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, where he earned his BA in 2004, he continued his scholarly pursuits at Haifa University, obtaining an MA in 2014. His early years were defined by a struggle to balance his artistic dreams with the practicalities of life, often teaching in various towns such as Jawarsih, Ramleh, Eisawiyeh, and Abou Ghosh to fund his education. This period of labor and learning deeply informed his ability to weave the personal and the political into a singular, cohesive narrative.
