Biografia:

Gerard van Nijmegen was a Dutch painter, draftsman and etcher. He worked in the style of Romanticism. Van Nijmegen was the son of painter Dionys van Nijmegen, who taught him. He was known for his landscapes and was a member of the Rotterdam Guild of St. Luke in 1743. He died in Rotterdam.
