villa medici in rom ( pavillon von ariadne ) ist ein ölgemälde des spanischen malers diego velazquez . im mai 1630 , velazquez bleibt in der villa medici , dies war auch ein idealer ort für ihn, um seine studien der klassischen antike fortzusetzen . Hier schuf er zwei kleine landschaften von erstaunlicher originalität , welches aspekte der gärten der villa medici darstellt . Dieses bild ( 48 x 42 cm ) ist derzeit im museo del prado untergebracht , Madrid .
