Atropos , oder das schicksal ( Spanisch : atropos oder las parcas ) ist eines der 14 schwarze gemälde von francisco de goya zwischen gemalt 1819-23 . Goya war damals 75 und in geistiger und körperlicher verzweiflung , schuf die serie direkt auf die innenwände des hauses bekannt als " das haus des gehörlosen " ( quinta del sordo ) , gekauft in der 1819 . es befand sich wahrscheinlich im zweiten stock des hauses neben dem kampf mit knüppeln und gegenüber der fantastischen vision . Wie der rest der schwarzen gemälde , es wurde auf leinwand übertragen 1873-74 unter der aufsicht von salvador martínez cubells , kurator am museo del prado . Der besitzer , Baron Mile d'Erlanger , spendete die leinwände an den spanischen staat in 1881 , und sie sind jetzt im prado ausgestellt .
