der feuervogel ist ein well-known kostümdesign von bakst , was er für igor geschaffen hat Stravinsky’s gleichnamiges ballett . Dies war ein durchbruchballett , nicht nur weil es war Stravinsky’ erstes populäres ballett , aber weil es das erste ballett war, in dem strawinsky mit sergei diaghilev zusammenarbeitete , Bakst , und die ballet russes . diese zusammenarbeit würde auch zur produktion von petrushka und the rite of spring führen , die beide für ihre kostüme und ihr bühnenbild hoch bewundert wurden . neben leon bakst , alexandre benois war auch ein bekannter designer für Stravinsky’s ballet’s produktion vieler designs für die ballet russes-produktionen .
