St. Augustine ist Gegenstand von zwei Gemälden des italienischen Renaissance-Meisters Sandro Botticelli. Die erste, 1480 ausgeführt, ist in der Kirche von Ognissanti in Florenz. Der andere ist in der Uffizi, auch in Florenz. Es porträtiert Augustine von Hippo in Meditation in seinem Studio. Der im oberen Teil sichtbare Wappen ist die der Vespucci-Familie; es wurde vermutet, dass das Bild von Amerigo Vespuccis Vater in Auftrag gegeben wurde.
