Das glänzende kleid , das goldene licht umgab sie , und die opulenten marmorsäulen hinter ihr verleihen der marienfigur eine aura der kostbarkeit, die durch den scharfen kontrast zum hässlichen alten noch verstärkt wird farmer's frau im vordergrund .
