l'uomo disteso a terra e mordendosi la mano nel frammento gravemente danneggiato sulle pareti dell'altare pensava di rappresentare caino . Infatti , pungente one's la mano è un simbolo tradizionale di invidia , uno di Cain's sette peccati . Nel medaglione del decoro grottesco sottostante , una scena del delitto con Triton-like le creature sono raffigurate . Qui l'arma del delitto è la mascella di un asino , quello usato da caino nell'uccidere suo fratello abele . Questo frammento di affresco è stato scoperto durante un recente restauro .
