Le saint se tient de profil sur les marches d'un autel devant un highly-developed fond architectural . Son regard se détourna vers le haut, étonné , il fait l'expérience de la manifestation de la mère de dieu et de son enfant , qui semblent flotter à l'intérieur de l'église sur un nuage , accompagné d'anges . Le rendu de la matière des robes est particulièrement impressionnant , tout comme le mist-like qualité du cloud , qui transforme presque la vision en un événement réel .
